What is INSTA 800?
INSTA 800 is the common Nordic standard for assessing and measuring cleaning quality - used in several countries, including hospitals and primary healthcare. Quality is judged by visual inspection of impurities - e.g. waste, dust and stains - across the surface groups floor, furniture, walls and ceiling.
The standard works with five quality levels, and inspections are carried out as stratified samples across classified rooms. That demands rigour: fixed room lists, consistent assessment and documentation that can be verified.
